Zine World is officially on a publishing hiatus.
We have nearly sold out of copies of copies of our most recent issue, and we are at this time suspending orders. (If you have already sent in an order, prior to today, your order will be filled.) If you would like to buy a copy of Zine World #31, check these distros: Portland Button Works, Ms. Valerie Park, Crabby Media,Reading Frenzy.
I am stepping down as the publisher and head editor of Zine World. However, I don’t want this to be the end of the zine. I want to see Zine World continue, and I want to continue to be a part of it. After talking it over with some current ZW volunteers and zine friends, I have decided to try to relaunch ZW with new leadership: an editorial team, or collective. This new editorial team will take on not only dividing the workload and responsibilities of publishing the zine, but also examine the zine itself from the bottom up.
We are seeking self-starters with a passion for zine publishing who are interested in seeing Zine World continue to be a part of this new leadership. If this describes you, email zineworld@gmail.com for more info. –Jerianne

I haven't heard of the Weiser catalogue. Am I missing something?
on another note, you ever read this item, Stu?

and do you ever listen to any of the comix podcasts such as Inkstuds, Comix Claptrap, etc? are there any Australian podcasts you could recommend?
have a good one.
The only Aussie comics podcast I know about is John Retallick's 'The Comic Spot'. He even interviewed me on it back in Sept 2011! http://thecomicspot.podomatic.com/e
I was a little disappointed that no one pronounced "blackguard" the old fashioned way, i.e., blah-guhd. so much for the 18th century.
I didn't listen to much of the Pat Grant portion of the show. I'd already listened to a long interview with him on Vancouver's Inkstuds podcast. I'm sure he's a great fellow but his being a PhD candidate is a big turn-off as are the kind of nicey-nicey anti-racism, anti-provincialism themes of his "Blue" comic. not that I'm in favor of racism in principle. I'm not in favor of any principles.
Smells Like Zines sounds like a nice place. maybe I should send my pamphlet to them, they might want to stock it like Sticky's did?
