16 pages, 8.5 x 5.5", $3.00 cash for a one-time sample copy, trade for your zine, or letter of comment. Dale Speirs, Box 6830, Calgary, Alberta, CANADA, T2P 2E7
This issue features an overview of earthquake movies and television series. Dale's smart and insightful reviews are balanced with his fine sense of humour, for example writing about Nature Unleashed: Earthquake [2004]: "All of their kids, surly teenagers (is there any other kind?), are providing the idiots for the idiot plots, getting themselves into trouble because they won't listen to advice. The actors are so wooden they give the lumber industry a bad name..."
Next up, part one of a look at human evolution and the effects climate change has had on it.
Finally, 'Zine Statistics For The Year Ended 31 December 2012'. As in previous years, Dale kept count of the zines he received. :...the number slowly continues to decline. Page count seems to be on a plateau." The total of zines dropped to 242 from 2011's 279.
