More strips have rolled in over the past week, including a very funny two-page deal from David Puckeridge. In related news, David and his girlfriend Julie (a rising art st*r couple if there ever was one!) will be doing chalk art at Darling Harbour next week along with a bunch of other chalky chaps. I'm going along to have a peep next Saturday. Christ on a bun, it's bound to be fun!
Doug Iannucci also wrote to guarantee that he has five strips on the way and the US Virgin Islands Postmaster swore by the voodoo gods that they would arrive in Mr Black's post office box no later than this Monday the 1st day of September.
Neale Blanden also replied to my near-hysterical email and promised that his stuff would be in the mail this weekend.
I also tracked down Mike Diana at long last, and he says he's gonna have something for me as well!
Hey, Pirochan! I know you're reading this! You had better get your butt into gear and send me your strip already. You promised, remember! Stop creating big gay fighters in Soul Calibur IV for five minutes and grab your drawing stick, willya!
In other big news, I'm working on something for Blackguard #1 that has never been seen before in a comics anthology (I'm pretty sure).
Now it's time to dive into the archives for another 'Best of Sick Puppy', and this gem is D. Rat's 'Problems' from SP#12. Timeless.
