Blackguard #1 Printing Misfire

Something not completely unexpected has happened. I had anticipated a potential problem with the printer objecting to some material in Blackguard #1, and I mentioned this to Brother Mikel (my 'print tech') but he said hell no, the dude is just happy to get the work. But as I found out this week the printer did indeed object to some content and admitted that he was not permitted to print "pornographic material." So right now we're negotiating with two other printers, one of which is definitely okay with printing such work. I'm mainly worried that now it won't be printed in time for the Newcastle zine fair, an extremely depressing possibility.

I'll post an update when I have some good news (or even some bad news), but meanwhile, it's back to Etrian Odyssey II for me and some more exquisite foresty dungeon torture.

Very sorry to hear that. Printers can be such fucks.

I have used the same one for years, and will never switch, even if the price is lower somewhere else. I like knowing that he will not object to any content I can come up with.

Thanks, man. I wanted to believe everything would be cool too because the printer's name was 'Funbo' (Chinese dude).

He didn't mention anything in particular, but there are at least three or four strips that would have been enough.
